Good to know

Does Remove delete songs from Apple Music?

No. It excludes them from playback in Outgrown and attempts to add them to “Outgrown — Removed.” Your original Apple Music library stays intact.

How do I undo a removal?

Use Undo when it appears, or open Removed from Home and choose Add back. Local playback eligibility is restored even if the Apple playlist update needs another attempt.

What does each swipe do?

Left removes and advances. Right keeps the song eligible and advances. Up favorites the song and keeps it playing. Favorites are mirrored to “Outgrown — Favorites” when Apple Music sync succeeds.

What do I need to use Outgrown?

An iPhone running iOS 16 or later and permission to access your Apple Music library. Playback depends on your Apple Music account, subscription or content entitlements, and song availability. Streaming and playlist sync may require an internet connection.

My library won’t connect. What should I try?

Check that you are signed into Apple Music and can play a song in Apple’s Music app. In iPhone Settings, check Outgrown’s Media & Apple Music permission, then return to Outgrown and retry syncing.

Why does a playlist say pending or failed?

Your choice is saved locally first. Apple Music may be unavailable or unable to update a playlist immediately. The app’s sync status tells you whether the playlist mirror completed; your local choices still control Outgrown playback.

How do I remove my data?

Delete the app to remove its local data from your device. Manage backups separately in Apple’s settings. Delete Outgrown playlists directly in Apple Music if you no longer want them. Contact us about any support emails you have sent.
